How to Index Pages in Google: A Step-by-Step Guide
Easy Steps to Get Your Pages Indexed by Google
Indexing your pages in Google is crucial for getting your content visible in search results. Below are the steps to help you manually index pages using Google Search Console.
Step 1: Log in to Google Search Console
Visit Google Search Console and log in with the Google account linked to your website.
Step 2: Choose Your Property
After logging in, select your website property from the dropdown menu. If you haven't added your site yet, follow the prompts to verify your ownership.
Step 3: Use the URL Inspection Tool
In the left-hand menu, click on "URL Inspection."
Enter the URL of the page you want to index in the search bar and press Enter.
Step 4: Request Indexing
Once the URL inspection completes, it will show you if the page is indexed or not.
If not indexed, click "Request Indexing" to ask Google to crawl and index the page.
If it’s already indexed, but you’ve made changes, you can still request a re-crawl.
Step 5: Monitor Indexing Status
You can track the page’s status in the Coverage report in Search Console to check whether it has been successfully indexed.
